What we collect

• Account details: name, mobile number, email, and a hashed password or passkey.
• Ticket and order details: what you bought, when, the price, and door check-ins.
• Payment details are handled by Stripe. We only receive the card brand and last four digits.
• Basic usage data, like which link brought you to an event page, to count sales and fix problems.
• Texting choices: whether you agreed to marketing texts from an organizer, and when, and any opt-outs.

How we use it

To run your account and tickets, send confirmations and sign-in codes, check you in at the door, stop fraud, pay organizers, and meet legal and tax duties.

Who sees it

• The organizer of an event you buy for sees your name, contact details, order and check-in for their events, so they can run the door and contact guests. Organizers only see their own guests.
• Service providers who help run Halo, such as Stripe (payments), Google Firebase (data storage), Vercel (hosting), and our text and email providers. They only use it to provide their service.
• Authorities when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information. Mobile numbers and texting consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.

Text messages

We text you about your account and tickets. You only get marketing texts from an organizer if you ticked their marketing box. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.

Your choices

You can download your data or delete your account from Account settings, or email support@haloevents.app. We keep order and payment records as long as accounting, tax and fraud rules require, even after an account is deleted.

Security and age

Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access limits. Halo is not for anyone under 18.
